I have always worked with animals and started off a career working for Waltham Pedigree Pet Foods running dog and cat units, I developed my skills as a dog training and started studying animal behaviour whilst at Waltham.  I spent time abroad, working in many areas of conservation and developed a love of large and exotic animals whilst in Africa. I gained my teaching qualification when I left the PDSA as a night nurse and continued to work within the animal care industry for many years across various colleges and animal care units.  I continued to study and look after exotic mammals and domestic animals at various educational facilities.  Since leaving full time education I trained in small animal hydrotherapy and developed a teaching centre, where I still run pet first aid classes.
